ONE
I’m so happy Spring is finally here! We’ve been hit with such crazy weather here on the east coast, I’m so looking forward to the sun and warm days. I’m in the process of changing out my wardrobe and getting my essentials ready for the summer. I’ve refreshed my Spring/Summer Fashion Shop with my picks for the season. Check out some of my favorites linked below.

Also, don’t forget to check out the Beauty Shop and Home & Décor Shop for updated picks and products that I’m currently using.

TWO
I’ve seen quite a few positive reviews on the Needles No More No More Baggage eye cream by Dr. Brandt. I decided to order it and test it out. It is suppose to shrink under-eye bags and puffiness, and minimize dark circles. What’s great is that it can be applied under or over your make-up. I’ve been applying it to my under-eyes before I put concealer on. You just pat a tiny amount under the eye and you really feel the area tightening immediately. I do notice that it reduces the puffiness under my eyes. As for dark circles, I don’t notice a huge difference since I started using it, but I am continuing to use it for my under-eye puffiness. A hair stylist introduced me to the hair care line, Verb, a couple of months ago. The line was created by stylists, is 100% cruelty-free, produced in the USA and contains no sulfates, parabens or gluten. The line is super affordable too, with all products priced at $16. I have been using the Volume Spray and the Ghost Prep daily. I use the Volume Spray on my roots while my hair is damp and then apply the Ghost Prep to my ends before blow drying to prevent split ends and heat damage. They are so light and leave my hair feeling soft and full all day long.

I had to travel to New York City recently for work to attend a trade show and needed to find some business casual shoes that would be comfortable enough for walking around the city and long days at the convention center. I purchased these Style & Co. ankle boots. Love them! They are made with a soft microsuede fabric and have a padded sock for extra cushion. They are currently on sale for under $20. I purchased them in black, which are no longer available, however they are still available in cognac and navy.

FIVE
I’ve decided to try the Whole 30 program. Several ladies at the office have completed or are currently doing the program and have had great results. I purchased Melissa Hartwig’s The Whole 30: The 30-Day Guide to Total Health and Food Freedom, as well as The Whole 30 Cookbook. I am going to start the 30-day program on May 1st – this will give me ample time to read the entire book, get a head start on meal planning and stock up on pantry items. I’m excited to try new recipes. I’ll be sure to share my experience. I have already eliminated refined sugar from my diet (which I’ll be talking more about in a separate post), as well as alcohol, so I’m hoping the program will not feel too restrictive for me. I’d love to hear your feedback if you have experience with Whole 30 – what worked/didn’t work for you, tips, recipes…

Have a great weekend!
