I have been looking for some separates and dresses on sale to take on our honeymoon in the Fall. Nordstrom is currently having their Half Yearly Sale and I just ordered this ruffled maxi dress by Lush – on sale for $33! It is also available in beige, black and blush. I really like the floral pattern on the blue option – I think it will be appropriate for our honeymoon in the Caribbean.

I love the recent collaboration between Baublebar and Target with the SUGARFIX by Baublebar collection of jewelry all for under $30! They have fun, trendy pieces at such affordable prices. You can find the entire collection on Target.com and in select Target stores. I purchased these pink beaded tassel earrings, along with these blue and white pair. They go great with many of my summer outfits.

Speaking of Target, we are headed up north to New Hampshire to spend Memorial Day weekend in the White Mountains. I picked up this tote bag this week for $20. They have a huge assortment of designs but I really liked the colorway on this one. You can fit so much inside (the dimensions are 14.5″ H x 20″ W). It’s the perfect companion for me while poolside as I have a habit of lugging everything but the kitchen sink with me… sunglasses, water, wallet, phone, books, magazines, lotions, cosmetics…you name it!

Last month, I posted on Instagram that I have been hearing a lot of women talk about how spearmint (and peppermint) tea has great benefits for your skin. I am a tea drinker (I normally drink traditional black tea or green tea) and I love using natural remedies so I thought I’d give it a try. I found this mint medley tea. It is all natural and caffeine-free. I’ve been making a pitcher of iced tea and drinking it throughout the day. After a month of drinking it daily, I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my skin. I’m having less breakouts and my skin feels softer. It’s definitely a natural remedy worth trying out and it tastes great too!

Saving the best for last… I’m excited to share some upcoming changes to the blog. Decorette will be undergoing a major makeover within the next couple of weeks. The look and layout will be revamped and simplified. More ‘shops’ will be added and organized by category. I will also be introducing new categories and series including health & wellness and inspiring reads. Stay tuned!
